5 Kg of Marijuana Secured by Police on Gili Trawangan, Lombok
Members of Drug Enforcement Police group of North Lombok secured 5 Kilograms of marijuana in one of the houses in Gili Trawangan. The arrest began with the disclosure of the transaction of illicit goods.
3 indonesian citizens were suspected of being owners of the illicit goods - Rahmat Tanjung (27), Roy Harjun (25) and Rahmat Ayatullah (27).
"This disclosure began with the arrest of one of the buyers or users who often ordered goods from the perpetrators," revealed the Head of Drug Enforcement Police group Iptu Remanto, through his statement to AFP on Thursday (1/30/2020).
"Police found the drugs in a small refrigerator that was not functioning. The transparent plastic packages contained a mixture of dried seed leaves and stems with a gross weight of marijuana around 5 kg", he explained.
The police officers also found electrical scales, suction devices, gas lighters, Rp 1.5 million in cash and dozens of transparent plastics.
"Regarding the incident, the perpetrators were taken to the North Lombok Police to be questioned for further investigation and process," said Iptu Remanto.
