Indonesia's latest official COVID-19 figures
The Health Ministry announced 347 new confirmed COVID-19 cases on Thursday, bringing the total number of infections nationwide to 10,118.
Speaking at a press conference on Thursday, the ministry’s disease control and prevention director general, Achmad Yurianto, added that eight more people had died of the disease, bringing the death toll to 792.
The total number of recovered patients has also increased to 1,522.
The capital city recorded 82 new confirmed cases, bringing the total tally to 4,175. Meanwhile, East Java reported 86 new cases, South Sulawesi 26, Central Kalimantan 18, Papua and Banten 16 as well as East Kalimantan 15.
The virus has spread to all of the country's 34 provinces.
In Bali, over the past day, 7 new cases of COVID-19 have been identified.
To date, the total number of COVID-19 cases in Bali is 222.
Another 17 new patients in Bali recovered and their number increased 113.
The number of deaths has not changed. There are still 4 of them.
