Vietnam Airlines Opens a New Route

Travel to Vietnam from Indonesia is now easier.

Vietnam Airlines is a new airline that opens new routes Denpasar-Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam.

This new route will be opened 27 October 2019.

Vietnam Airlines General Manager for Indonesia, Nguyen Minh Toan, mapped the opening of this new route to accommodate the needs of passenger connectivity between the two countries. Moreover, bilateral relations between Indonesia and Vietnam are increasingly close.

"We hope to facilitate transportation needs for Indonesian passengers in Denpasar to Vietnam and vice versa, and tourists in Vietnam and Denpasar have many flight options to come to these two countries. This is our reason for opening this new direct flight," Nguyen said press conference in Kuta, Badung, Bali, Thursday (10/24/2019).

Flight schedule from Denpasar to Ho Chi Minh will be done five times a week, except Wednesday and Saturday. The flight from Denpasar to Ho Chi Minh will fly at 16.50 West while from Ho Chi Minh to Denpasar flying at 11:10 local time.

Nguyen is optimistic that the new Denpasar-Ho Chi Minh route will increase tourist arrivals for each country. He added that the potential need for flights connecting the two countries is also increasing.

"We can say the transportation needs between the two countries are very large, and we see a lot of potential to develop this. Our flight schedule is five times a week, and in the future we plan to increase the number of flights to seven times," he explained.

Nguyen added that the presence of Vietnam Airlines is expected to be an additional flight option for passengers. Moreover, the airline offers attractive promos at affordable ticket prices.
